drake stoppin the game to see if the ladies in the crowd are being treated well
So I went to Monumentour on Tuesday and it was AMAZING. We were right against the barricade on the right (Pete’s!!!) side. Paramore’s set was so high energy and crazy and Hayley was gorgeous as always. Also Taylor’s curls stayed perfect and not frizzy and it was hot and humid as hell there and I was jealous. We were only a couple feet from the stage so Hayley saw me and pointed to me and sang!!!
Fall Out Boy came on and I lost my fucking mind. We were so close to Pete and he will forever be my role model, inspiration, and crush and everything so I was freaking out. He saw me taking a picture of him and he stuck his tongue out! A bunch of times he looked at me (this sounds dumb but I was literally right in front of him in the crowd) and smiled and could feel my heart exploding I swear to god. Pete was being so funny and was messing with Andy and throwing those big balloons at him over and over.I love pyro so that was awesome and their set went by way too fast. Idk what else to say, I’m rambling but it was just so perfect.
Here are some pictures:

Slurs are not oppressive because they are offensive, they are oppressive because slurs by nature of being slurs draw upon certain power dynamics to remind their target of his/her/their vulnerability in a certain relation to power and as an extension of that, to threaten violence and exploitation of that vulnerability.
